I turn science into stories through illustration and design.

I'm an Art Director and Scientific Illustrator with a background in both science and fine arts. I specialize in creating medical and scientific visuals that are accurate, engaging, and scalable, whether through illustration, art direction, or brand-aligned style guides. My work bridges science and design to help ideas connect, teach, and grow.

        Our Art Director, responsible for the still images that make our content exceptional and unique, does that. She refreshes Preclinical. She makes Clinical. She replaces my marker drawings with high-quality art. She is responsible for the layout and layovers. She makes the images in our questions. Some of the work she does on her own. Some she makes by managing others. A manager, an individual contributor, an artist, an advocate. She does her job. She does is effectively, efficiently, and with the respect of those she manages. She always advocates for the people who report to her and not herself. She has a title. She has a responsibility. She does it. She does it well. And this is all we should expect from her. But she does so much more. Our Art Director, responsible for the still images that make our content exceptional and unique, is also a subject matter expert.

        Lisa performs exceptionally in her role and her job requirements. In addition, Lisa does so much more than she should, than is expected of her, than anyone should demand from her. And she does it all well, with a positive attitude, and with a commitment to her company, its mission, and to the team. She excels in all domains, including new ones newly imposed on her.
